How do I find out whether I'm allowed to drive or not?

Currently, I have to get my eyes tested at the opticians and don't go to the eye infermary.

I'm getting my eyes tested on Wednesday - will they be able to tell me then?

It depends on where you live and your vision. More details are needed(where ytou live, what your acuity is, etc). Your driver's licence/permit may be limited based on info(days only, for example), you may be able to have no restrictions, or you may not be able to get a licence at all.

I live in the US and that's how things can work here. The regualitons where you live have a large bearing on what you can legallly do.

Ask the optician when you have your eyes tested.
If you can read down to a certain line then you should be ok.

Unfortunately I can only read down to two lines above this point so I am doomed to public transport and the generosity of friends and family.
