Hi Every one I am new on here just wonder if anyone else has been on the adoption root my partner I& I are unable to have children of our own & are going throught the adoption processs let's just say it's not been easy i have 2 doubley prove myself. Just wondered if any ones gotr any advice or help with this sorry spelling is not my strong point he he :D

Hi Midger,

You're not the first person with nystagmus to contact us about encountering barriers to adopting children.

Other people have found that finding out all they can about nystagmus and showing social workers, etc, information from the Nystagmus Network explaining the condition helps a lot. Usually, the key is to remove any concerns a social worker might have that nystagmus would put a child at greater risk.

Hi John have sent u private email about our progress to date They can not find us any statistics to say if any visually impaired adoptive parents there has bn if any :D
