Amantadine

Hi All,

I have been informed that Amantadine can help with Nystagmus, does anyone have experience of it helping?

Hi Iain,

I've not heard of amantadine being used for nystagmus in the UK, but that's not to say that it isn't sometimes used. A drug with a fairly similar name - memantine - is being trialled for nystagmus. I will emphasise, though, that no-one is claiming that memantine will cure nystagmus, only that it might improve vision in some people.
