Northwick book in Dutch

Postby John Sanders on Tue Jan 03, 2012 5:40 pm

Hi everyone,

"The Tales of Northwick" children's book (about a bear with nystagmus) is now available in Dutch as "De avonturen van Balder". Here's what the Dutch publisher says

Els Cornax, who kindly translated Tales of Northwick into De avonturen van Balder, tells me that the Dutch Royal Libraries organisation has ordered 30 copies to distribute in the Netherlands. So, the book should be very easy to get hold of soon. This means that more families affected by nystagmus can benefit from a Nystagmus Network publication. And if you do buy the Dutch edition of the book, some of the proceeds go to the Nystagmus Network allowing us to help more people. And if anyone is interested in translating Tales of Northwick into another language, do get in touch. We already have one story in Italian and would love to see German, French and Spanish versions next, but we will consider any language.
