Wobbly Wednesday reaches thousands

NN’s first ever awareness raising day – Wobbly Wednesday on November 6 2013 -- reached thousands of people across the UK and beyond. People in hospitals, schools and workplaces from the Solent to Scotland took part in telling colleagues, family, friends – even strangers on the tube about nystagmus.

One father of a child with nystagmus rang NN after learning of the charity through Wobbly Wednesday said: “It’s helped me a great deal just talking to you.”

Black Eyed Peas singer Apl.de.Ap – who has nystagmus -- sent a special message to children with the condition: “I do not need my senses to create music but connect all my senses and have the passion for what I do.””
