Theres lots of news in Focus this quarter; a new book, a new member of staff, a new venue for Open Day and a new nystagmus support group. The Challenge of Nystagmus is probably the most comprehensive book so far written about nystagmus.
Focus 96 has the first of series of summaries of the book which is written by and for doctors and researchers. Using Facebook has meant were able to get the all-important Open Day interaction started before we meet for the first time in Manchester. We welcome Kerry Pleasant to the team; her role within the charity is to help support families/parents dealing with nystagmus. And in the news in brief section we learn that the Netherlands now has its own Nystagmus Network.
